I walked home from school today thinking about the blog and realised that I've never posted a single post about Bleach...but Bleach is awesome so it's a total disgrace that we should do something about! Most of you probably already now a lot about Bleach, if you don't I hit your heads in a table or something! SHAME ON YOU, it's a super popular shounen manga. I'm not that into shounen manga but Naruto and Bleach are too exceptions I guess I love them both, Naruto more however Naruto is the best. It's written and illustrated by Tite Kubo by the way. I'm thinking about going to a japanese pop culture event. I think I should but I'm just not that into cosplay and so on, but I guess it will be fun. Maybe I can take some really nice pictures and post here?
Bleach is about Kurosaki Ichigo his awesomeness and all his shinigami pals and the hollows and blosh can't spoil anything you know. There is over 400 chapters available now and over 300 episodes of anime. I started with the anime and after that I read the manga. In comparison to Naruto Bleach's anime is much closer to the manga chapters I think maybe 20-40? or so. Naruto is like 100 or something. Bleach is worth watching. when I started I liked it a bit but the first 50 episodes or so I did'nt like taht much, as the story develops it gets more and mroe interesting however. As with alot of animes/mangas with long stories you need a lot to happen before it gets truly interesting, all the characters are introduced and so on.
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world.
I can't wait to get the boxsets but hell it's goin 2 burn a hole in my pocket
