Good Morning Call

Hello :D Today i'll tell you about a manga I've been reading a couple of hours today, that I really like. I have'nt finished the manga its 11 volumes, but I probably will until the end of the week(next week that is). It's a typical shoujo manga and has most of the things shoujo mangas usually have, love, jealousy a lot of friendship, A LOT OF DRAMA and well normal school life too. Well it's a little bit crazy and very amusing and I love shoujo manga with realistic themes and well its just supercute so if you're into mangas like the ones Kaho Miyasaka makes you will probably like this one. You can read Good Morning Call here and its written/drawed by Yue Takasuka. The Manga has also been made into an OVA.
About
Nao Yoshikawa stays behind to live by herself when her parents leave to inherit her grandpa's farm in the country. On the day she moves into her new apartment she soon discovers that it was rented also to Hisashi Uehara--a cute, super-cool, popular guy from her school. Not only did their housing agency unexpectedly close down, the landlord of the apartment tells them that they had to pay more for their aparment then they had expected. With no money and no home to return to, Nao and Hisashi decide to live together as flatmates.By the way I will soon read a manga they say have similarities to Death Note that I have very high hopes for. I will also tell you a a bit about Kaho Miyasakas series. She creates very nice shoujo manga and I've read a lot from her so there will be some posts about them sometime.

Mr. Imba's Naruto Chapter Discussion

Oh my, I have been slacking so bad lately, luckily we've got Linda-chan hehe. :)

Sigh, I have two essays that has to be done on Monday.. School really do suck, so instead of doing the essays I'm going to write a post here. :D Ain't a thoughtful?

Anyway, I recently read the new Naruto manga chapter, and I must say.. It's becoming super awesome again. Naruto's finally given up on the idea of turning Sasuke good and taking him back to Konoha. He's finally realized that it's impossible and the only way out is by fighting him.
Also in the last chapter there was one or two pages showing us Kabuto and his new orochimaru-like powers, that was pretty neat. I wonder what part he'll have in the ongoing series, I'm almost positive he'll go against Sasuke though, mostly because he was the one who killed his master, Orochimaru.
And also, Sasuke transplanted Itachi's eyes, does that mean he also has the Eternal Sharingan now?
And lastly I was quite chocked over the whole Kisame fight, but it seems that everything went according to plan, I wonder how the infiltration will turn out.

So, in other words, I really look forward to the next chapter, and the one after that.. And the one after that!

Kin'iro no Corda

Beside Manga I have a huge interest in music too. Thats why I love when i can combine the two of them somehow and this serie Kin'iro no Corda made me want to play the violoin. I play the guitar and mainly hard rock so that this serie made me interested in classical music is kind of fun. However this anime is very good and not just because of the beautiful music. I like when you can just relax and enjoy your time, just sink into another world (the one of the anime) and forget your own for a while. This anime has a bit of everything, music, friendship, drama, drama, drama and well also love of ofcourse. I have only seen the anime and it's around 25 episodes, but there is a manga too that's around 10 chapters and you can read it here.
There is a new season that premiered in March and I have'nt seen any episodes of that one, only the first. Anyway I will tell you about that season too when I've watched some. The first season is called Kin'iro no Corda: Primo Passo and the second season Kin'iro no Corda: Secondo Passo. Something I find rather amusing that this manga is originally a game xD A roleplaying game that later was adapted to manga. I guess the main theme is classical music, but well I just thought you wanted to know. The creator fo the manga and the games character designer is Yuki Care.
About Kin'iro no Corda: Primero Passo
Hino goes to a school that specialises in music and has two streams: the normal stream and the music stream, where the music students are regarded as the more elite. She was running late for her class one day when she saw a tiny fairy, who seemed really excited that she could see it. The next day, the entrants in the music competition, who are decided by the school, are announced. Hino's name appears on the list - except she doesn't play an instrument. The fairy gives her a magical violin that can be played by anyone. Reluctantly, she enters into the competition and is forced to deal with the prejudices of her peers.

Naruto

I think Naruto ends soon....

Asa mo, Hiru mo, Yoru mo

Today I finished Ludwig Kakumei and I'm kind of sad because of that. I loved to read that manga T_T Luckily I will continue wiht another manga called Good Morning Call. When I've finished that I'll tell you about it too, it's a really interesting manga.Today the manga will be.....Asa mo, Hiru mo, Yoru mo. It's a short manga that I had forgotten xD so it's not that special but it's still good. I'm very tired today so I will just give you a brief summary about it. 11 chapters long, you can read it here and the artist/author is Aoki Kotomi. It's a romantic shoujo manga.
About
Shinobu is a typical high school girl...with a typical hatred of boys. Long ago, she was horribly abused by one and hasn't been able to tolerate being near them since. Now Yokomizo has appeared before her--a boy who looks exactly like the one who tormented her in the past. He's the last guy she wants to have around, but then he confesses his love to her!?

K2, Kill Me Kiss Me

Good Evening Today I'll tell you about a manhwa called K2, Kill me Kiss me. A Manhwa is a manga serie from korea, you can sort of say btw. I like this manga cause it's a nice mix of the harsh life on the streets and a normal teenage drama. The story revolves around a couple of teenagers in a random town. Only a couple of volumes long so it's not a one piece manga mission exactly. The Summary down there is only for the first volume. The plot changes a lot through the serie and the main things in the first volume has nothing to do with the story in volume four and so on. the Artist/Drawer is Young-You Lee.
About
Tae and Jung-Woo are two cousins that look exactly alike, except that Tae is a girl and Jung-Woo is a boy. When Jung-Woo mentions in passing that the hottest boy model, Kun Kang, is a student in his class, Tae immeadiately bribes Jung-Woo into switching places. When Tae, dressed as a boy, arrives at school, she finds she has to go through Ga-Woon to get to Kun. That's pretty tough since Ga-Woon beats her up on the first day. While Tae is ruining Jung-Woo's social life, Jung-Woo seems to be having way to much fun dressed as a girl.

LUDWIG KAKUMEI

Oh my ***, you have to read this manga people. It's so insainly funny. It's about a totally superhandsome and sadistic prince and well it's just so funny, this serie really have a superinteresting plot. The story is built up on parodies of famous fairytales like Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and more. I loved those stories when i was little and to read a bloody manga about them is very..entertaining. It's rather short, only 16 chapters. It's both drawed and written by yuki Kaori (who's made God Child, Angel Sanctury for example). This Manga I REALLY recommend because it's so cool and funny and I'm so totally addicted. you can read it here.

About
Prince Ludwig isn't your conventional prince charming. He appears to be an unbelievably attractive though in truth, necrophilic narcissist prince who has a fetish for big breasted women. However his father the King became very displeased with his unusual hobbies and sets him off on a journey to find a bride. So together with his constantly abused manservant Wilhelm, who is in truth his closest person, he sets off on a journey which leads to encounters with infamous fairytale princesses. An even more twisted interpretation of the already twisted original fairytales from the Grimm Brothers!

One problem I have when I read manga is that I have to love the artists drawing style. Cooler characters = better manga in my mind. When I read some comics I just can't concentrate on the plot because of the super..ugly in my mind characters that's why I love manga artists like Yuki Kaori a lot. In her mangas she create super cool characters. I will read everything she's made from now on a while, I think! but i have some others on my mind too.

Orange Planet

Good evening people today I'll tell you about Orange Planet, a supercute manga serie I read a year ago. It's written/drawed by the same person who made Cherry Juice Fukushima Haruka. It has its simliarities with Absolute Boyfriend because of the way they live. The female maincharacter caught between two guys . The one she's loved for ages that live next door, and the one that's suddenly living in her home, both causing a lot of drama. I really liked the manga because its so innocent, cute and really a typical shoujo manga. I'ts not something you will remember forever but a nice manga to read if you have the time. You can read it here.
About
Orange Planet is about Rui, a high school student in love. One day, while delivering a love letter, Rui finds herself caught in a fire! Eisuke, the owner of the apartment that caught fire, says that since he saved Rui from the fire, that he should live in her home! This will be a problem for Rui, because her childhood friend, Tarou, lives next door and often comes into Rui's house unexpexctedly. Will Rui be able to put up with Eisuke living in her home without being caught?BTW tomorrow i'll tell you about a manga I've been addicted to these last few days. I will probably finish it today too. Its super funny and something really interesting if you have a crazy humour and like fairytales.

Cherry Juice

Hello this is a manga I read a couple of years ago. Its 20 chapters and 4 volumes long and its really cute. Not the best manga every but a nice shoujo manga I would say. I'f you're bored its fun to kill time with. It's a bit akward I think because its a love story between two step siblings. I mean they are not realted in blood but it feels akward anyway and I was really irritated about this fact throughout the whole story. However you may not, so read it. I think it was good anyway. The author is Fukushima Haruka and you can read it here. Fukushima Haruka has written/drawed another even better manga I will tell about tomorrow.
About
Minami and Otome have been step siblings for five years. Their grandmother is staying with them, taking up Minami's room while she recovers from surgery. This results in Minami having to bunk in his sister's room. They have divided the room with a sheet hanging from the ceiling between the bed where Otome sleeps and a futon on the floor where Minami is sleeping. This often results in Otome either falling half-dressed out of her bed and onto Minami or Minami knocking down the sheet while Otome isn't there and rifling through her things. Shortly afterterwards, a boy named Amane kisses Otome and they begin to date. This sparks emotions in Minami, forcing him to realize that he may feel more for Otome than brotherly love. As Minami begins to express this inner struggle through teasing, harsh words, and awkward romantic gestures, Otome comes to feel the same things.

Mr. Imba's Naruto Chapter Discussion

Long time no see!
As usual I'd like to compliment Linda-chan on her awesome anime/manga recommendations. Let's give her a round of applause everyone!

And now to the weekly Naruto Chapter Discussion.
I just read chapter "485 - Close...Far..." and I found it quite enjoyable.
Not much to actually say regarding this chapter, it was all very predictable. I'm seriously tired of Naruto's endless trying to convert Sasuke to the good side.. It's hopeless, just let it be already!
And doesn't this kinda remind you of the battle in the anime just before shippuuden ( or those damn fillers? )

I don't know how many of you that actually agree with me but I really think Naruto should realize that it's hopeless and give. it. up. Already..

Anyhow, I'll keep on reading and posting regarding the Naruto manga chapters, I hope that it'll come to an end soon. I want to see how they're going to finalize this amazing series.

Until then, take care!

Walid-kun.

Oh and PS, damn you Linda! I was going to recommend Death Note! Grr.. You win this round.. Expect me!

Death Note

I suppose you already have seen or read this manga/anime, and that you loved it, if not I will give you a brief summary about its contents here so you can join the death Note lovers club. You have probably already heard of it before but I guess its my duty to recommend it anyway. It's a manga and a anime as you already know and its one of the best. I have'nt read the manga but seen the whole anime and its really good. The story is well planned and well Death Note is one of the most exciting animes I've seen. You cant stop watching. Its deffinetly one of my favourite animes of all time. The story has also been made into film and I've een the first one and its good too. I recommend you though if you're totally unfamiliar with Death Note to watch and read them in this order, manga-anime-movie cause then you wont be bored with either of them. Its always fun to see a manga you've read made into anime, and its always fun to see an anime you've seen into a film. The characters are really nice, and if L was a real life human I would be so into him. You can read the manga here, and search the internet for the anime. Its written by Obha Tsugumi and drawed by Obata Takeshi. I hate dubbed anime but this trailer was the best so.
About the Manga
Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects--and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals begin dropping dead, the authorities send the legendary detective L to track down the killer. With L hot on his heels, will Light lose sight of his noble goal... or his life?

Mr Imba that awesome dude will probably have very nice discussions here though, so please read our blog X) we dont have any readers yet but this blog is awesome so.

S.P.Y

S.P.Y is a manga written by Ayane Ukyou. It's very nice and the theme is swimming. Its a rather short shoujo manga. I read it in a couple of hours and good entertainment if you're bored. Sometimes I like to read short series that end quickly just for fun. The ones you can read for weeks must be super good. Its not the best manga ever but its ok and I liked it. Its only 13 chapters and you can read it here.

About
In the search for her mother, Nagi, a girl from a desolate country village, comes to a big city and enters Swimming Suieikyou High School. Shortly after joining the swim club, Nagi finds out that the club is completely dominated by boys! Despite the obstacles facing her, Nagi is determined to join the swim club. However, she soon finds herself learning more than just swimming, the hard ways of love and friendship.

Perfect Girl Evolution

OMG Seriously I had almost forgot this anime/manga Perfect Girl Evolution ,(aka Wallflower). I saw the anime maybe a year ago think and I've never read the manga, BUT I will do that when I have time. However! People listen carefully now this anime is so funny I get sick. Your cheeks will hurt and eyes cry, if you have an awesome humour like me then,(heh). The Manga is very long around 100 chapters at the moment and not finished. It's written/drawed by Hayakawa Tomoko. You can read it here. It's superfunny and really well just funny I love it, and will watch it again. The Female maincharacter is probably one of the coolest ever.

About the Manga

It's a gorgeous, spacious mansion, and four handsome, fifteen-year-old friends are allowed to live in it for free! There's only one condition-that within three years the guys must transform the owner's wallflower niece into a lady befitting the palace in which they all live! How hard can it be?
Enter Sunako Nakahara, the agoraphobic, horror-movie-loving, pockmark-faced, frizzy-haired, fashion-illiterate recluse who tends to break into explosive nosebleeds whenever she sees anyone attractive. This project is going to take more than our four heroes ever expected: it needs a miracle!

AHAHA I love the trailer seriously watch it. I dont know if its homemade or just dubbed but its still hilarious and explains why its so funny.
About the Anime

Kyouhei, Ranmaru, Takenaga, and Yukinojou are beautiful, handsome, young men living in a huge mansion. One day, their landlord, whom they call "Auntie", asks them a favor: to make her niece, Sunako, who's going to be living with them, into a respectable young lady. She agrees to make their living expenses free of charge if they succeed, but if they fail, she'll triple their rent. Due to their confidence in knowing how to deal with women, they agree, but once they meet Sunako, they begin to realize that their lovely living arrangements may soon be in jeopardy.

Absolute Boyfriend (Zettai Kareshi)

Hello people of the world.

Today im quite sad because I'm soon finished with Kaikan Phrase, all 44 episodes... T_THowever I will still give you a new post about an awesome japanese tv drama that's really funny, and its originaly a manga. It's superfunny and i read the whole manga in one day. It's ofcourse a shoujo manga but mostly a comedy and well just watch it! Its hilarious. The japanese tv drama is not exactly the same but the characters and the main things in the plot is. It's not necessary to read the manga before watching the drama, it does't ruin anything. If you want to read the manga you can read it here. I know the manga seems really perverted when you see the cover, but its not at all, its just that guy who is a pervert.
About the Manga
Rejected way too many times by good-looking (and unattainable) guys, shy Riiko Izawa goes online and signs up for a free trial of a mysterious Nightly Lover "figure." The very next day a cute naked guy is delivered to her door, and he wants to be her boyfriend! Has Riiko died and gone to heaven? The cute guy turns out to be sweet, smart, a great cook, and lots more. And he looks like a million bucks, which is what he's going to cost Riiko if she doesn't return him in time...
About the Drama
Robot maker, Kronos Heaven, finally develops "Night Tenjo", the perfect male humanoid programmed to be devoted and completely loyal to his lover. The company chooses temp worker Izawa Riko to take part in a 5-day free trial. At first, Riko only sees Night as a household appliance. But when she finds out how deep Night's devotion to herself is, Riko finds herself falling in love with him. Joining the love triangle is Asamoto Soshi, a distinguished young executive at her company who has feelings for her.

Walid-kun's Anime recommendations!

Hello and once again welcome to Walid-kun's Anime recommendations! EPISODE 02, with your host: Walid-kun! (well, duh)

Todays anime recommendation is none less than:
Neon Genesis: Evangelion.
Neon Genesis is pretty much the 'Shawshank Redemption' of Anime, in other words, it's really good. Some would even say a master-piece.
Most anime/manga fans out there has probably already read/seen it, or at the very least heard of it.

There's 26 episodes, and 6 movies so far, only 4 or 5 available in the US. I have personally never read the manga version of Neon Genesis so I can't really vouch for it.
Honestly, I usually have difficulties watching anime's this old ( 1995-1996 ) but the amazing story-line got me hooked. It made me completely forget about the low-quality painting and video-rendering. The latest movie was available in Blu-ray, and the quality was A-MA-ZING.

Here's a quite rough summarize of Neon Genesis: Evangelion.
The story starts around the year ~2000, where "The Second Impact" occurs, I still wonder what the First Impact was.. Maybe they're aiming for the comets that made the dinosaurs vanish? But I digress, "The Second Impact" which were described as an global cataclysm, killed half of humanity and completely destroyed Antarctica. There's a lot of scientific factors involved that I'm NOT going to become engrossed in for now. They soon realize that the comet that hit the earth was the result of an contact with the first "Angel" called Adam. The Japanese created a paramilitary organization called "NERV". "NERV's" central mission is to locate the remaining Angels and destroy them.

So if you haven't checked it out yet, go and do it NOW. Oh and don't forget to take out the trash while you're at it, thaaanks ~

Walid-kun.

Kimi ni Todoke

Kimi ni todoke (aka. Reaching you) is a manga written drawed by Shiina Karuho. It's a supercute typical school romance shoujo manga. I think its super cute really and I have'nt finished the manga but I watch the anime now and then. The anime is rather new and premiered in the winter 09. However I think that if you want to watch the anime you should read the manga first and then do it because it's funnier then. The story is the same but watching an anime and then read the manga is not fun. Believe me I did that with Death Note and I could'nt even finish one chapter, even though I'm probably missing a lot by not reading it. If you're interested in reading this super cute manga you can read it here. If you're interested in watching the anime watch it subbed not dubbed. I know the anime trailer is dubbed but i could'nt find it subbed so.

Linda-chan Shoujo Manga

Hello

Well as you've probably noticed I'm kind of into shoujo manga. I guess Naruto is the only manga I love to read thats not shoujo so I will probably have posts about mainly shoujo manga in the end. However when i find some nice manga that's not shoujo I'll tell about them too.
